Jaire Alexander's father has fired back at claims the former Green Bay Packers' star cornerback was unwilling to renogiate his contract.

In response to the report, Alexander's father, Landis Alexander, fired back with a shot at the report and the team. He made it clear that his son was willing to discuss a pay cut, but was not willing to play nearly for free.

Jaire Alexander has been released by the Green Bay Packers, ending a seven-year run in which he emerged as one of the NFL’s top cornerbacks before injuries limited his availability.
