Jets quarterback Justin Fields‘ first (and likely lone) season with the organization will end on injured reserve. The Jets have placed Fields on IR with a knee injury, head coach Aaron Glenn announced (via Rich Cimini of ESPN).
NEW ORLEANS — Despite the 29-6 loss to the Saints on Sunday at the Superdome, rookie Jets head coach Aaron Glenn praised Chris Harris, his newly appointed defensive coordinator.
"We had way too many penalties that actually put us behind the sticks, when we have a good play that put us in a good position, and then we have a penalty," HC Aaron Glenn said after the Jets' 29-6 loss to New Orleans. "And that happened a number of times on third-down plays, on early downs. You can't do that in this league and win games."
