After years of decline, Lebanon is ill-equipped to deal with a wave of displaced people. One family left their farm and found themselves homeless in Beirut.

The Israeli military said on Monday it was conducting extensive strikes against targets of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah movement in Lebanon, which come amid some of the heaviest cross-border exchanges of fire in nearly a year of conflict.

Israel's military said an airstrike on Beirut had killed Ibrahim Qubaisi, who it said was the commander of Hezbollah's missile and rocket force.
