Robin Kaye and husband Thomas Deluca were found dead in their Los Angeles mansion, after a history of burglaries in the Encino area.

Robin Kaye, an American Idol boss, and her husband were fatally shot in their Encino, Los Angeles, home. Alleged murder suspect Raymond Boodarian reportedly lived just minutes away from them in a neighbourhood packed with celebrities.

The couple ultimately did not go through with hiring the security firm and it remains unclear whether their home had been targeted before.
