Houston hadn’t defeated a ranked opponent, until Saturday night. The Cougars stormed into Tempe and upended No. 24 Arizona State 24-16 in wire-to-wire fashion, leaving the desert with their first ranked road victory since upending No. 17 South Florida in 2017.
