Marvel Studios’ latest adventure and the fourth solo Cap movie, “ Captain America: Brave New World ,” is opening in theaters this weekend and has made $12 million in Thursday previews at the box office.

The first Paddington had a three-day total of $18.9M, while Paddington 2 posted $11M. Quorum believes the 3-day for the threequel is $12M-$15M (update). The pic has already cleared $104M abroad with $19M from Sony’s offshore territories.

The Marvel Studios' movie is the year's first tentpole and is on course to collect $90 million-plus over the long Valentine's Day/Presidents Day weekend.
