Kelly left the football facility, as did pretty much everyone else on the LSU staff, as they awaited resolution.
LSU has four games remaining in the regular season, including Alabama in two weeks followed by matchups against Arkansas, Western Kentucky and Oklahoma. If the Tigers don't fire Kelly over their upcoming bye week, the final four games could determine his fate in Death Valley.
Per Yahoo Sports' Ross Dellenger, "LSU administrators and university executives have held and are holding high-level discussions over" Kelly's future, and those discussions involve the state's governor. Dellenger noted that there is "there is no immediate resolution."
