Costco forced to recall 80,000 lbs of butter – because the label fails to mention it contains milk
Costco and its customers are being forced to dispose of nearly 80,000 lbs of butter because a label on the product bizarrely doesn’t state it contains milk. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recalled 79,200 lbs of Kirkland Signature butter - a dairy product made by churning milk or cream - due to an undeclared allergen in October.
