SAN DIEGO (KABC) -- Another brush fire erupted Wednesday morning in San Diego County, prompting evacuation orders. The so-called Center Fire was reported at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday in the San Bernardo community near Bernardo Center Drive and Camino del Norte and had the potential to burn up to 100 acres, authorities said.
Update: Lilac Fire in San Diego County close to full containment
Lilac Fire initially started today at 1:19 a.m. in San Diego County. It has burned 85 acres after being active for 19 hours. A crew of 66 firefighters succeeded in containing 50% of the fire as of Tuesday evening. Investigations into its cause are still ongoing.
