Indiana has won two straight Big Ten basketball games without leading scorer Malik Reneau, most recently beating Penn State 77-71 at The Palestra. Hoosiers head coach Mike Woodson commented on his team's grit and character after the victory.

Indiana will play in one of college basketball's classic venues against a team that relentlessly pesters opponents defensively.

Reneau suffered a right knee injury on the second possession of Thursday's 84-74 win over Rutgers and did not play the final 39-plus minutes of the game. Woodson shared an update on Reneau's injury following Sunday's win in Philadelphia.

Regardless, a good faith effort to start the second half made the Hoosiers’ Sunday at the Cathedral one to remember, as Indiana held on to secure a 77-71 victory over Penn State. Sixth-year center Oumar Ballo stuffed the stat-sheet, leading the team with 25 points and 13 rebounds.
