In the last two weeks Brian Kelly and the LSU recruiting staff have managed to get Defensive Lineman Lamar Brown (No. 7 Overall/No. 1 DL) and Edge Rusher Trenton Henderson (No. 28 Overall/No. 4 EDGE) while having already received a commitment from Tristen Keys (No. 4 Overall/No. 1 WR).
"We are in the best place that we've been in a number of years," Kelly told SiriusXM. "It's the first step. We're not at the end. I listen to some of our brothers over in the Big 12 complaining about where we are at. I was like, 'I don't think you should be complaining about anything.'"
Former LSU football coach Nick Saban is rumored to be interested in returning to the coaching profession after retiring in early 2024, and current LSU football coach Brian Kelly is a fan of the idea.
