John Torode was sacked from MasterChef for using “the worst racial slur there is”, Richard Osman has claimed. Osman made the claim in his podcast, The Rest Is Entertainment, during a discussion about the exit of Torode and his co-presenter Gregg Wallace from the BBC show.

John Torode has pulled out of a festival he was scheduled to headline just days after being sacked by the BBC from his Masterchef job. The broadcaster confirmed on Tuesday (July 15), that the 59-year-old celebrity chef would no longer be hosting the programme he’s been on since 2005.
