Tottenham snap up Mathys Tel on permanent deal at less than agreed price - Tel spent the second half of last season on loan at Spurs and has now made the move permanent

Thomas Frank is believed to be excited by the prospect of working with Mathys Tel at Tottenham Hotspur following his £30m arrival.

Tottenham Hotspur are getting down to business. After sorting out the whole managerial fiasco, the Spurs front office have moved quickly to close a deal with young, talented forward Mathys Tel:

Tel was originally signed on loan in January, with a view to a permanent deal under former boss Ange Postecoglou. Frank is said to have given the deal his approval, with Spurs making the move permanent, as Postecoglou had intended. Tel made 20 appearances in all competitions for Spurs in 2024-25, scoring three goals and registering one assist.
