"K-pop Demon Hunters," an American-made film, has gained a huge audience in South Korea, thanks to its nods to Korean folklore, pop culture and habits.

The U.K. Singles Chart has its first K-pop No. 1 in 13 years as KPop Demon Hunters' "Golden" hits the top spot on Friday (Aug. 1). The song features on Netflix's animated musical and is credited to the group HUNTR/X,

The original soundtrack “Golden” from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters has reached No. 1 on the United Kingdom’s Official Singles Chart Top 100, marking the first time in 13 years that a K-pop song has topped the chart since Psy’s “Gangnam Style” in 2012.

News of the cancellation came after the series’ minutes of viewing declined by 73 percent from season one to two.

Netflix is not proceeding with Season 3 of Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s action drama Fubar. The series, also starring Monica Barbaro, did not perform well.

Schwarzenegger's father-daughter spin on True Lies has been dumped by the streamer after its second season failed to make an impact back in June.
