An Ohio sheriff was suspended from Facebook and barred from election security after a post urging people to 'write down' local Democrats' addresses while insulting Kamala Harris

The sheriff made national headlines when he used insulting language toward the Democratic presidential candidate in a Sept. 13 post.

Portage County Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski has deleted his Facebook post that suggested residents write down the addresses of Kamala Harris supporters.

The decision came a week after the sheriff said in public Facebook posts that residents should “write down all the addresses of the people who had her signs in their yards.”
