Elizabeth Mendoza watched nervously as demonstrators protesting President Donald Trump’s immigration raids and policies clashed with police outside of her Compton restaurant, Restaurante Y Pupuseria La Ceiba.
The mass protest will be focused on the Trump administration's actions that protesters believe are authoritarian and blur the line of democracy.
The "No Kings" Chicago protest Saturday in Daley Plaza is one of the anchor events for a national anti-Trump movement. It is one of more than 1,800 protests being held nationwide in response to the Trump military parade.
