Gov. Ron DeSantis pledges to continue deportations through Alligator Alcatraz after judge's ruling to vacate the property.

Ron DeSantis’ administration is planning to challenge a federal court ruling that would all but shut down the operations at Florida’s makeshift immigration detention camp in the Everglades within the next 60 days,

The injunction permits the facility to go through the required environmental assessments as there have been efforts to preserve the Everglades for years.

The findings raise questions about the DeSantis administration's vetting of the companies that received Alligator Alcatraz contracts.
