Top-ranked Jannik Sinner rallied to beat Roman Safiullin 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 in the second round of the China Open and learned afterward that his steroid case is far from over.

Jannik Sinner isn’t in the clear just yet. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) over a decision in August to clear the No. 1 ranked men’s tennis player in the world — and U.S. Open winner earlier this month — of wrongdoing for failed drug tests.
