As Hurricane Helene tracks closer to the Tampa Bay area, we're keeping you up to date with the latest evacuations issued across the area.

Hurricane Helene formed Wednesday morning as Tampa Bay officials issued more evacuation orders and urged residents to get ready as the window to prepare is shrinking. A stretch from Pasco County north along the Big Bend to Mexico Beach in the Panhandle is under a hurricane warning.

In Hillsborough County, a mandatory evacuation order is in place for residents in Zone A and all mobile or manufactured homes.

The National Hurricane Center projects that the storm will make landfall as a major hurricane along the Florida's Gulf Coast on Thursday. Intel has had quite a wild week. And it might not slow down anytime soon.
