An updated tropical storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 3:52 p.m. in effect until Friday at midnight for Cherokee County.

Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for, Spartanburg, Anderson and surrounding counties, according to the-Spartanburg NWS.

As Hurricane Helene — now a Category 4 storm — moves toward Florida's Big Bend, the Treasure Coast is still feeling some light winds, with stronger gusts and isolated rainfall Thursday evening. The Treasure Coast saw tornado watches lifted for Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin counties at 8 p.m. by the National Weather Service in Melbourne.
