The Veilguard has been out on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and the new RPG has divided the Internet. To this end, a metric ton of criticisms have been lodged against the new BioWare game. The primary criticism is the game’s writing.

The Veilguard mods gives the game a darker, more grounded aesthetic. This is accomplished by removing the purple clouds and filters that are found in some areas. It comes after some fans were disappointed by The Veilguard's visuals after its reveal trailer in the summer.

The Veilguard's best side quests arguably should have been a main story quest, due to what it reveals about the game's antagonist.
