Wendy’s is looking to capitalize on McDonald’s ongoing issues with its broken ice cream machines with the promotion of its own frozen dessert: the $1 Frosty.

Wendy’s is taking shots at the Golden Arches by advertising its $1 Frosty as the go-to sweet treat while the “other guys” struggle with broken ice cream machines. Without mentioning McDonald’s by name, Wendy’s added its locations to a so-called McBroken map that tracks the chain’s malfunctioning ice cream machines.
