Jing Sheng Dong, a 48-year-old tour bus driver from Staten Island, New York, faces three additional felony counts in connection with the deaths.

The New York bus driver charged in a Virginia crash that killed five Massachusetts residents admitted on Tuesday to driving 22 miles over the speed limit in a separate incident earlier this year.

Five people — including a family of four — were killed in the incident, and about 44 people were transported to area hospitals, three with critical injuries.
