CLEVELAND — Northeast Ohio got a real taste of winter over the Thanksgiving holiday. In the last 72 hours the lake effect snow has been varied. As usual it is a matter of the haves and the have-nots. Lake effect snow is notorious for vastly different accumulations from place to place - often within the same city.
Parts of Northeast Ohio, including the northeast corner of Cuyahoga County and the snowbelt regions of Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties, could see 4 to 8 inches of snow on Thanksgiving, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland.
