Verdansk is coming back to Call of Duty Warzone, but fans want more than just the map; they want all the old mechanics to return, too.

Warzone has been the replacement of the Verdansk map, which the game launched with in 2020, with the Caldera map in late 2021. Ever since the change a sizeable contingent of players have been unhappy,

Warzone players can go back to where it started with the release of the Verdansk map confirmed to be coming in Season 3.

Ahead of this, Activision released a nostalgia-themed trailer set to "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole. The CG trailer calls back to Warzone's earliest days, showing off some of the locations that are set to return. It ends with a soldier looking directly into the camera, with a tear streaming down his face as he smiles.

Activision today revealed that Call of Duty: Warzone's beloved Verdansk map will return to the game when Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 launches.

Verdansk will make its return to Call of Duty: Warzone in Season 3 on April 3, ending many months of speculation and rumors regarding the map and its content.

Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 is scheduled to arrive on April 3, after Activision pushed the update back two weeks from its original launch date of March 20. The in-game Battle Pass timer has been revised to reflect the change. Conversely, players have two extra weeks to grind out any season two rewards they’ve yet to unlock.
