Conor McGregor has said he is in discussions to return to UFC, either at the White House event in June or sometime in the Summer. "I am in negotiations with the [UFC] about the bout. Either the White House or thereabouts. Sometime in the Summer, McGregor will return," he told Lily Rayne in an interview posted to Instagram.

Carlos Prates thinks Conor McGregor wanted no part of him – and he doesn't blame him.

While there was no formal fight offered to him by the UFC, Carlos Prates believes there may have been talks within the promotion about showdown with Conor McGregor.

Over the past few weeks, McGregor has been strongly linked to a comeback fight against Prates. After McGregor expressed his willingness to face a relatively low-profile opponent for his long-awaited return to action earlier this year, many began speculating that Prates could be the fighter to welcome the Irishman back.

In February, Dana White shut down a false report that claimed Colby Covington would be facing Conor McGregor in the main event of the UFC White House card. The UFC president wrote that at that time, they hadn’t even started putting the card together, but his dismissal of this post isn’t enough for ‘Chaos’.
