Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead on Detroit’s west side. The shooting occurred on Friday (Nov. 28) around 8 p.m. on West Chicago Street. Police have not released any information on what led up to the shooting or if there was a suspect.

Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found in a Southfield hotel's parking lot on Sunday. Southfield police and medics were called at about 2:47 a.m. Sunday to the parking lot of the Radisson Hotel on Telegraph Road near M-10 for a report of a shooting, officials said.

Two adults, one from Detroit and one from Rochester Hills, were arrested at the condominium complex, according to deputies. Investigators recovered a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun from the scene. Deputies say the shooting may have been the result of a domestic dispute. An investigation is ongoing.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A man was killed in a shooting that happened at a hotel on Telegraph Road in Oakland County, police said. Firefighters and officers were called at 2:47 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, to the Radisson Hotel on 26555 Telegraph Road in Southfield, according to authorities.

Police state that shortly after 8 p.m. officers responded to the 6200 block of South Boulevard for an assault with a deadly weapon call. When officers arrived at the scene, they found one person had been shot.
