Duplicate folders in the left Navigation pane of Explorer occur because of corrupt settings or files. We explain the resolutions for the same.
Duplicate-file-finding programs expect you to manually check each file for deletion. That's not practical for Edward Derbyshire, who has "121,000 duplicates" to delete.
To remove a folder you don’t need—and everything is removable including the Desktop link—right-click it and choose Remove; or in Windows 10, select Unpin from Quick access.
