Read’s defense has called seven witnesses through three days so far. There are at least three more witnesses on the defense witness list likely to be called before it rests: Andrew Rentschler and Daniel Wolfe, accident reconstruction experts at the firm ARCCA, and Dr. Elizabeth Laposata, a medical examiner.
Judge Beverly Cannone sent jurors home for the day shortly before 4 p.m. Deliberations resume Wednesday morning.
