Mark Walter reportedly could be approved as the new owner of the Los Angeles Lakers within the next week. According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, Walter will present his bid to the NBA Advisory Finance Committee on Friday, at which point the committee will make a recommendation to the NBA Board of Governors.

"Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves are both being held out of the lineup against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, the Los Angeles Lakers announced, one day after the pair played nearly 40 minutes apiece in a 130-120 win over the Miami Heat ," wrote Dave McMenamin.
