Carlos Prates thinks Conor McGregor wanted no part of him – and he doesn't blame him.
Over the past few weeks, McGregor has been strongly linked to a comeback fight against Prates. After McGregor expressed his willingness to face a relatively low-profile opponent for his long-awaited return to action earlier this year, many began speculating that Prates could be the fighter to welcome the Irishman back.
Conor McGregor has said he is in discussions to return to UFC, either at the White House event in June or sometime in the Summer. "I am in negotiations with the [UFC] about the bout. Either the White House or thereabouts. Sometime in the Summer, McGregor will return," he told Lily Rayne in an interview posted to Instagram.
