WBC welterweight world champion Mario Barrios defends his title against challenger Ryan Garcia in a highly anticipated bout at the T‑Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Ryan Garcia secured his first major title with a dominant unanimous decision victory over Mario Barrios to become the new WBC welterweight champion.

Since being elevated from interim to full world champion by the WBC, Barrios has twice defended his belt, going to draws against Abel Ramos and Manny Pacquiao.
