Due to the impacts of Hurricane Helene, WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner said North Carolina’s mountain areas would likely not be ready for visitors until after the fall foliage season.
The Greenville-Spartanburg National Weather Service says snow flurries are in the forecast early this week east of the North Carolina mountains, including the Charlotte area and east of Interstate 77.
