RICHMOND — A man shot to death a week ago has been identified as a Richmond resident. The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office identified 23-year-old Josue Cornejo publicly. He died after being shot on Nov. 17 in the Iron Triangle area of the city.

A man found fatally shot in Richmond's Iron Triangle neighborhood early Monday morning has been identified by police as 23-year-old Josue Cornejo.

A person was killed in a shooting in Richmond Saturday night, police said. Officers responded to the area of Potrero Avenue and Carlson Boulevard after receiving a report of at least one person shot just after 8 p.m., according to officials.
