The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that two minor magnitude earthquakes hit Leon County on June 4, in the area of Marquez. The agency said a 3.4 magnitude earthquake began at 6:41 a.m. around six kilometers northeast of Marquez, towards Concord.
