ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating after a woman was shot to death on Christmas Eve. Around 6 p.m., officers responded to a person shot call at 1113 Smith Street SW. When police arrived, they found a woman with an apparent gunshot wound. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman living in transitional housing in Fayetteville was shot and killed on Christmas Eve.
