Delhi’s new Chief Minister Atishi faced criticism from BJP and Congress for not using her predecessor's chair, labeling it an insult to constitutional rules. Comparing herself to Ramayana's Bharat, Atishi pledged to temporarily serve with dignity.

Atishi was sworn in as the Chief Minister on Saturday. She became only the third and the youngest woman to take oath as the chief minister of the national capital.

Atishi has taken over as Delhi's new chief minister from Arvind Kejriwal, managing 13 key portfolios such as finance and power. The cabinet features both returning ministers and newcomer Mukesh Kumar Ahlawat.
