A community event that showcases Indigenous cultures is underway in Toronto at the Fort York National Historic Site.

The Fort York Guard perform a musket demonstration on Canada Day 2019. The Fort York Guard program was suspended in 2022 amid acrimony between city hall and the Friends of Fort York Group.
