Omkar Salvi has been appointed Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowling coach ahead of IPL 2025. Salvi, the 46-year-old former Railways cricketer, has had a hugely successful career as a coach in the Indian domestic circuit.

"Omkar Salvi, current Head Coach of Mumbai, has been appointed as RCB's Bowling Coach," the franchise tweeted. "Omkar, who has won the Ranji Trophy, Irani Trophy and the IPL in the last 8 months, is excited to join us in time for #IPL2025, after completion of his Indian domestic season duties."

Omkar Salvi has joined Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) as their bowling coach for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Salvi was earlier with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who won the IPL last season.

RCB had appointed Dinesh Karthik as batting coach earlier this year and Omkar Salvi has worked with him for KKR in the past too.
