After a rainy start to the week in Charlotte, the weather is supposed to improve considerably Thursday when the 156 players in the field begin the first round of the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club.

And more hot play there, including a first win, earned him a late invite to this week's PGA Championship by virtue of being in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking.

The 107th PGA Championship is underway at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. The top 3 players in the world will be grouped together with Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and defending champion Xander Schauffele going out at 8:22 a.
