A man has died after he was hit in the head with a vodka bottle in Prague. Dai Richards, understood to be from Mountain Ash, was on a night out in the Czech Republic city on Saturday. Police said Mr Richards was hit on the head and was then taken to hospital where he died that evening.

A British father-of-three has died after being "struck with a vodka bottle" during a stag do in Prague. David 'Dai' Richards, 31, from Mountain Ash, Rhondda Cynon Taf, passed away on Saturday following an incident in the Czech capital the night before.

His family described it as a "blind attack" and said the provisional cause of death had been given as blunt force trauma.
