Chicago police said the man was sitting inside a car in the 1400 block of W. 90th St when another vehicle approached.

A 16-year-old boy is dead and two others are hospitalized after a shooting Sunday on Chicago's Far South Side, authorities said.

Chicago police said the victim was inside a vehicle when an unknown vehicle approached. That's when an unknown male exited the vehicle, pulled out a firearm, and shot at the victim. The gunman left the scene in an unknown direction.
