A man named Shotsie Michael Buck Hayes attacked and poured gasoline on Danville City Councilman Lee Vogler before setting him on fire, according to Virginia police.

Police said a Virginia city councilman was set on fire in what they’re calling a personal attack. At about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Danville City Councilman J. Lee Vogler, 38, was confronted by a man who poured gasoline on him.
