The Artworks Gallery is offering a four-week series of drawing workshops. The classes teach drawing basics with instructor Roberta Nelson. The workshops are for people who want to learn how to draw.

Classes are set up for two different age groups. A children’s art class for junior-high-school aged students is scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. “This will be a basic drawing class,” LeCompte said.

Try the two-hour "sampler" class, Drawing Basics: A Friendly Introduction, or the more advanced Drawing Studio class. Experienced instructor Holly Nelson "is a fabulous artist," adds Sara.
