SpaceX has been successfully landing the first stage of its Falcon 9 rocket for the last decade. Doing so allows SpaceX to use a single booster for multiple missions, enabling it to slash launch costs and increase launch frequency.

The Space Coast's record rocket train of 2025 kept rolling with the first launch of December on Dec. 1. A SpaceX Falcon 9 with 29 of the company's Starlink satellites lifted off from Kennedy Space Center's Launch Pad 39-A at 2:44 a.m. marking the first of at least five planned launches on the Space Coast in the next two weeks.
SpaceX plans to launch on the evening of Monday, Dec. 1, between 6:10 and 11:10 p.m. The countdown on SpaceX’s website appears to show a 10:28 p.m. Arizona time projected launch, though space launch times change depending on weather and other factors.
