The Golden Valley community has heard from the candidates being considered to lead the city's police department.

The person who died was reportedly trapped in the home.

Two others were injured in the fire: a woman and a Golden Valley police officer. Both were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
