With much discussion about House Bill (HB) 711 that would allow open enrollment across the state, the Missouri House of Representatives have passed the legislation.

The Missouri House has passed HB618, a bill aimed at reducing insurance red tape by easing prior authorization requirements for medical treatments. The bill now moves to the Senate for consideration.

Missouri lawmakers passed House Bill 567, which would cut back on paid sick leave regulations voters passed in Proposition A.

Missourians approved Proposition A, which raised the minimum wage and mandated paid sick leave, with 57% of the vote. The legislation passed by the Missouri House entirely repeals the mandated sick leave portion.
