The National Endowment of the Arts (NEA) has made changes to its grant compliance guidelines, including restrictions on expressing diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI) and transgenderism affecting art organizations and artists across the nation.

Hundreds of artists wrote an open letter to the NEA expressing "tremendous disappointment" over grant restrictions to institutions that have DEI programs.
