Yoshinobu Yamamoto has one of his worst starts and Zach Neto hits two home runs for Angels as they defeat the Dodgers.

Zach Neto snared a Shohei Ohtani liner, tagged second and tossed to first to record a rare triple play in a Los Angeles Angels win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Ohtani later hit a home run. According to Sportscenter, it was the first time a player had hit into a triple play and hit a homer in the same game since 2016, when Freddie Freeman did it for the Braves. Freeman, of course, is now Ohtani's teammate on the Dodgers.

Ohtani, who hit into a triple play in the sixth inning, had given the Dodgers a 6-5 lead in the ninth with a towering home run down the right-field line off Kenley Jansen. It was Ohtani's 43rd homer of the season, breaking a tie with Philadelphia's Kyle Schwarber for the National League lead, and extended his home run streak to four games.

The Angels tie the game in the ninth inning, and Jo Adell's walk-off hit in the 10th is the difference in a 6-5 win over the Dodgers.

The Angels placed Gustavo Campero on the injured list and designated Shaun Anderson for assignment before facing the Dodgers on Tuesday
