Earlier today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Savencia Cheese announced a voluntary recall of select soft ripened cheeses sold at retailers such as Aldi, La Bonne Vie, and more.

Brie cheese sold at retailers such as Aldi have been recalled in 12 states, including New Jersey, due to the presence of listeria.

One of the impacted cheese products, called Emporium Selection Brie Soft Ripened Cheese, was sold at select Aldi stores in six states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, and Missouri.
